Frequently Asked Questions
What are your logs seasoned too?
Our logs are processed into IBC crates then dried in our log drying kilns, which they are stored for 7 days at 120 degree heat. They come out less than 20% moisture ready to burn.
Are your logs hardwood?
YES! We sell hardwood. We believe that hardwood is much better for burning as it burns hotter and is longer lasting, which means in the long run it actually makes the logs cheaper for the customer. We use a hardwood mix of timber such as oak, ash, beech, sycamore, cherry, elm, apple etc..
We do however sell softwood too, which can be great for getting your fire going!
How do you deliver logs?
Delivery is taken place on a LWB Flatbed van with a tail lift making easy offloading onto your drive, alleyway etc.. please read our T&Cs when ordering.
Where do you source your timber from?
We use sustainable sources such as woodlands being thinned out making room for trees to develop and grow further. We try to source our timber within 50 miles of the Wirral to ensure our carbon footprint is kept small.
How big are your logs cut?
Our logs are cut at an average of 8/9 inches long, which is standard size within the UK. Although if you want bigger / smaller logs, please contact us first and we can help you.
How do you pay for logs?
